Terms
Morse Station is a free game. There is nothing to buy, nothing to subscribe to, and no advertising. By playing it you agree to the following, which is deliberately short.
The game is provided as it is
It is a hobby project, offered without any warranty. It may be unavailable, it may lose progress, and it may change or stop entirely. Please do not rely on it for anything that matters, and keep a SAVE file if a record of your progress is important to you.
It teaches Morse code, it does not certify it
The syllabus, the equipment and the procedures are drawn from wartime US Navy radio practice and are simplified for a game. Nothing here is an amateur radio licence, a qualification, or advice about operating real transmitting equipment. Morse Station transmits nothing on the air.
Fair play
Please do not attempt to break the game for others: no automated scoring, no scripted play to climb the honour board, no attacks on the server, and nothing offensive as an operator name. Names are shown publicly, and one that is abusive, impersonating, or otherwise unpleasant may be removed along with its record.
Your content
The only thing you provide is an operator name and your keying. You keep whatever rights you have in it, and grant permission to display the name on the honour board while the operator exists. Deleting the operator removes it — see deleting an operator.
Everything else
The game, its text, artwork and recorded voices belong to their author and are not licensed for reuse. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions to iainmcintosh@gmail.com.
