Deleting an operator
Morse Station has no accounts — an operator is just a name and a record of progress, held against a random identifier in your browser. You can delete one at any time, from inside the game or by writing to us.
In the game
- Open Morse Station and continue as the operator you want to remove.
- Go to Options (the settings prop in the radio room, or OPTIONS on the title screen).
- Scroll to the bottom and choose DELETE OPERATOR.
- Type the operator name when asked, and confirm.
What is deleted
Everything held on the server about that operator, immediately and permanently: the name, the experience points and rank, the completed lessons and missions, the equipment, the settings, the full attempt history, the link to this device, and the entry on the honour board. There is no recovery and no backup copy.
What is not affected
If you exported that operator with SAVE, the file is your own copy on your own device. It will still restore the progress — as a new operator with a new identifier — so delete the file as well if you do not want that.
Any other operators saved in the same browser are left alone.
By request
If you have already uninstalled the game, or cannot reach Options, write to iainmcintosh@gmail.com with the operator name as it appears on the honour board. We will remove it and reply to confirm. Because there is no account, the operator name is the only way to identify the record, so please spell it exactly.
